Angalia Camp offers five exclusive tented chalets integrated to the environment, with individual bathroom and hot water, accessible from the interior of the tent for maximum comfort and privacy. The furniture has been made by local craftsmen in local woods as the mpingo ebony and the mninga, the indigenous hard woods found in Tanzania

Set at the top of a hillside in thick woodlands some 15 minutes drive from the park gate, Vuma Hill Tented safari Camp is a haven of tranquillity after a day’s safari.
The Danish manager is charming, the food is good and the pleasant swimming pool clear and inviting.

There are a total of 16 tented platform rooms, that are spacious and stylishly decorated with large bathrooms. The terrace raised above the forest gives beautiful views over the Mkata floodplain below.
This is an excellent spot also for children and is much favoured by resident ex-pats visiting from Dar es Salaam.
