This itinerary starts at Kilimanjaro Airport, and ends on Zanzibar airport.

Day 1:Arrival
On  arrival point  you will meet with Gosheni Adventures representative and then take you to the Rivertrees Country Inn or Mountain Village Lodge. Dinner is included.

Day 2: Lake Manyara
After breakfast we depart for Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others.

Day 3: Serengeti
After breakfast you start on your way to the Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa.

After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti
You will have breakfast at the Lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomena. Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt.

You will return to your lodge for a sumptuous lunch to gather strength for the afternoon game drive.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. After breakfast continue game driving on your way to Naabi Hill Gate and towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After lunch and some rest at your lodge you will go for an afternoon walking safari at the Northern Crater Rim of Ngorongoro Crater inhabited by buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds. Escorted by an armed ranger you follow animal paths through dense bush.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater – which is often described as one of the wonders of the world.It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations.

It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2,000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only.

Day 7: Arusha
After breakfast we will visit a Masai village at Ngorongoro, then proceed to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar.

Days 8-10: Beach Resort Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy Zanzibar’s paradise beaches around your resort.

Stonetown and Spice Tour
On one of your beach days you will go on a guided tour. After breakfast transfer to Stonetown for our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques!

Afterwards you proceed to the famous Spice Plantations were we invite for an opulent lunch for you to taste the spices and fruits. . Afterwards you will do the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we take you back to your hotel.

Day 11: Departure
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure.

The hot air balloon safari allows you to see the plain from higher above. The Safari starts at the south west of the Serengeti National Park, through the Serengeti plain and above the large herds of migrating wildebeest, zebra and residing gazelle and antelopes .
It mainly takes place early in the morning (06:30 am) before the sunrise. Balloons which are used in the Serengeti have the capacity of carrying up to 16 people per flight. Only two balloons fly each day; gives opportunity to take photos and having panoramic view of mighty Serengeti Plain
One day balloon flight:
flying over Sopa and Seronera valleys towards Makoma in a level height viewing such animals as cheetah lions, wildebeest, zebra, and even eland, giraffe, gazelle, hyena, zebra and hippo.

Morning drive via Nairobi to the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at your campsite.

Day 4: Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at your campsite.

Days 5 & 6: Maasai Mara
Experience the magical Maasai Mara; with morning and afternoon game drives, lunch, dinner and overnight at your campsite.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Days 3-4 Serengeti National Park
Enter the plains of the Serengeti, home to large herds of zebras and the iconic Big Five. Spot as many animals as possible on a game drive, then drift to sleep amid the calls of nocturnal birds. At dawn, an optional balloon ride over the park offers a chance to watch the animals of the African savanna from above – an unforgettable experience well worth splashing out for.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater
Visit the fascinating Olduvai Gorge, the ‘Cradle of Mankind’, where some of the world’s oldest humanoid skeletons were discovered. Set up camp on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, overlooking jagged volcanic peaks and rolling grasslands.

Day 6 Arusha
Rise early and explore the crater floor by 4×4 in search of wildlife. Afterwards, head to the village community of Mto Wa Mbu to admire local artwork and interact with the residents. At night, camp under a blanket of stars on the outskirts of Arusha.

Day 7 Airport Transfer
Leisure breakfast at your Camp drive back to Arusha with  last minute shopping in en route , visit local marketing afternoon tansfer to the Airport for your Flight Zanzibar / Home

12 Days Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari

Day 1 On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by Gosheni Adventures representative and transferred to Arusha. Overnight on Bed & Breakfast at Impala Hotel

Day 2: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch at the Tarangire Safari Lodge. Later proceed for an afternoon game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park,
it’s also noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Safari lodge

Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. After lunch you will descend to the floor of the crater. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Arrive at Serengeti Wildlife Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch continue with an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight at the Seronera Wildlife lodge.

Day 5 & 6: Two full days of game viewing in the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at the Seronera Wildlife lodge in the Serengeti National Park

Day 7: Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands. Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. Afternoon visit to the waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge

Day 8: After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel, after lunch, drive back to Arusha for flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be transferred to your Hotel/Resort. Dinner at Zanzibar  Matemwe  Beach

4 days – Arusha, Manyara, Ngorongoro crater

Day 1: Nairobi-Arusha
Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi at 7.30 am depart for Arusha town via Namanga border post for immigration formalities and arrive in Arusha in the afternoon to be transferred to your hotel spend the afternoon at leisure with safari briefing by one of our staff in Arusha,dinner and overnight in Arusha Annex hotel.

Day 2: Arusha-Lake Manyara
After breakfast leave your hotel at 8.30 am for for L.manyara National park arriving in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive diner and overnight in your campsite.

Day 3: Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast leave lake manyara for Ngorongoro crater arriving in good time for lunch after lunch, descend 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for full day crater tour with break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound. Evening game drive, return to Ngorongoro wildlife campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha-Nairobi.
After breakfast  you will drive to Arusha for lunch and afterwards to Nairobi via Namanga border town arriving early evening.

Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Game Drives/Safaris:
See the ONLY 5 white rhinos in Zambia plus giraffe, elephant, hippos, crocs, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, antelope and many species of birds. This is also the point of the first European settlement north of the Zambezi. Three hours is spent cruising around the park, sipping soft drinks and getting super close to some of the most amazing creatures on earth!

White Water Rafting:
There is no denying it – the Zambezi provides the best rafting trip on the planet! The mighty Zambezi is one of the reasons that so many of us choose to make Victoria Falls our home away from home. You’ll crash through some of the biggest commercially run rapids in the world (grades 3-5) while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Batoka Gorge.

White Water Rafting Multi-day Trip:
If you are keen for the ultimate thrill then a multi-day trip along the Zambezi is it! After a full day of rafting, you’ll set up camp in the Batoka Gorge and listen as the wildlife, gaze into the campfire and a down a few cold drinks before you settle in for the night. Rise to a big breakfast, and the crazy adventure starts again! Perfect for a group (4+ persons) traveling together.

Bungi Jumping:
The Victoria Falls Bungi Bridge is 111 meters of pure African adrenaline and still one of the highest Bungi bridges in world! The bridge itself forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and has its own little piece of history for being a major part of Rhodes’ Cape to Cairo railway. After screaming, crying, praying and thanking God that the elastic is still tied to your ankles, you’ll bounce around to the sites of Victoria Falls and the Batoka Gorge.

River Boarding/Boogie Boarding:
For those of you wanting to catch the perfect wave that never breaks, this is the best! Begin your day by grabbing a board, slapping on some fins and learning some tricks with your qualified guide before heading down into some HUGE walls of water. This can be combined with a rafting trip. No experience necessary but if you’re a surfer, this is a must!

Tandem Kayaking:
Maximum weight 95kg. If you aren’t yet comfortable to challenge the Zambezi on your own, then this is the next best thing! Start your day by learning to paddle and roll while your personal guide is always right behind. You’ll brave the river along with the daily rafting trip so all meals, drinks etc. – are included.
Kayaking:
Come and play with World-class international freestyle paddlers as they guide you on your kayak trip of a lifetime. Jet Boating:
Livingstone newest thrill! Jump in the NZ built, specially designed boat and get up to speeds of almost 90 km per hour! Sounds impressive you say… now imagine doing that for 40 minutes while buzzing inches away from rocks and doing full 360 degree spins! The choice is yours to either drive out through the picturesque villages of Mukuni and Machenge or helicopter out and over the Victoria Falls.

Abseiling/Gorge Swing:
This is definitely not for the faint-hearted! Your morning commences with the High wire (a zip line) across the width of the Batoka Gorge. You then learn the basics of abseiling/rap jumping down a 100m cliff face … and then after lunch, the GORGE SWING (there is only a few other places in the world where you can do this!). All activities can be done as many times as you wish in the day.

Canoeing:
Get back to nature and experience the upper Zambezi River in two person canoes. Great photo opportunities as you sneak up on all of the wildlife and birds that the Zambezi River has on offer. Half day, Full day and multi trips available…

River Cruise:
Discover why an African Sunset has become the source of legends! The cruise boats, ranging from Pontoon-style party villas to multi-tiered luxury, cruise up the Zambezi River between the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Zambia) and the Zambezi National Park (Zimbabwe) where hippos and crocodiles are plenty. Often there are sightings of giraffe, elephant, rhino, zebra and various antelope. Cruises range from providing snacks on the boat to full barbecue dinners and all you can drink. Be sure to bring your camera!

Walking Safaris (Mosi-oa-Tunya):
The half-day safari includes a game drive to and from the walking area – then hold your breath and be as quiet as possible as you tip toe up to giraffe, elephant, zebra, rhino, buffalo and all of the other wild critters! Certainly an amazing experience and not to be missed! Trip includes brunch and softies in the morning or sundowners and snacks in the afternoon. The two-hour safari includes drinks but no food.

Fishing on the Upper Zambezi:
Spend a day on the magnificent Upper Zambezi River – pitting your skills against the vivacious Tiger Fish and delicious bream as well as various other fish that the Zambezi has to offer.
