For many years, Zambia has maintained its reputation as the a premier tourist destination in southern Africa. As a result property developers are busy putting up luxury lodges and tented camp facilities close by major private and national parks, such as Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Kafue National Park and the North and South Luangwa National Park.

 
The dry winter months (May to September) are the best time to have a Zambia Safari. During this period the vegetation is thinner and animals tend to congregate around permanent water holes – allowing for very rewarding game viewing adventures. On the other hand, the summer rainfall period (mid-November to mid-March) sees vegetation becoming lush and greener. During this period animals disperse in the bush making game viewing adventures less rewarding.
